How it differs from Meta's official Ads MCP
Meta runs its own Ads MCP at mcp.facebook.com/ads, in open beta since 29 April 2026. It's strong for reporting, one-off edits, catalogs, signals and A/B tests.
As of 2 November 2026, it has no tool to upload new media from a link or folder, and no batch or duplicate tool. Launching 40 ads means dozens of separate calls.
Ad Uploader fills that gap. Most people should run both side by side: Claude picks the right one for each request.
What this Meta Ads MCP server adds
- Media import: Google Drive folders, Dropbox links or direct URLs.
- Placement pairing:
hook1_4x5.mp4andhook1_9x16.mp4become one ad. - Launch as one job: ad sets and ads are created together, with per-ad errors in plain language.
- Naming rules: your pattern is applied to every ad set and ad.
- Saved defaults: Page, landing URL, copy and UTMs per ad account.
Advantage+ stays off
All 14 Advantage+ creative enhancements are off by default and written off on every ad. Your creative runs as you made it, unless you ask otherwise.
Works in the client you already use
The same server URL works in Claude, Claude Code, Codex and Cursor. Setup steps are here, with Facebook sign-in and no API keys.
