Why media buyers run this in the terminal
- Briefs live next to your work: keep campaign briefs as files and point Claude Code at them.
- Repeatable launches: reuse the same prompt each week with a new folder link.
- Skills: save your launch steps so anyone on your team runs them the same way.
Point it at your creatives
Ad Uploader imports from a Google Drive folder, a Dropbox link or direct HTTPS URLs, up to 50 files at a time. It can't read files from your local disk, so put them in Drive or Dropbox first.
Filename tags do the grouping: hook1_4x5.mp4 and hook1_9x16.mp4 become one ad.
The same guardrails as chat
preview_launch shows the full plan before anything is created. launch creates everything paused. set_status needs an explicit confirmation before it activates anything, so a script can't start spending by accident.
Common questions
Do I need the Marketing API or a system user token?
No. Sign in with Facebook once through /mcp and Ad Uploader handles the API calls.
Does this work in Codex or Cursor too?
Yes. The same server URL works in both. Config snippets are on the how it works page.
