One ad set, many creatives
A common test is one creative per ad set, all using the targeting you already trust. In chat that's one sentence:
"Duplicate my Broad AU ad set for each file in this folder, one creative per ad set."
Claude imports the files, makes the copies, adds one ad to each and shows you the plan first.
What gets copied
- Targeting, budget and optimisation goal all carry over.
- Copies are always created paused.
- By default the copy is empty, ready for new creatives. You can ask to include the existing ads instead.
- Copies can go in the same campaign or a different one.
Names stay tidy
Ads Manager adds "Copy" to everything. Ad Uploader names each new ad set with your saved pattern, such as {campaign} | {group} | {index:01}, so reports stay readable.
Check it, then switch it on
When the job finishes you get a link to review in Ads Manager. Activate from there, or tell Claude which ad sets to turn on, which needs your explicit yes.
Common questions
Will duplicating reset the learning phase?
A new ad set starts its own learning phase. That's how Meta treats any duplicate, whichever tool creates it.
Does it keep likes and comments?
New ads from new creatives start fresh. Reusing an existing post to keep its social proof isn't supported yet.
